Iota carrageenan/ Carrageenan 25g

Also known as carrageenan, carrageenan, Irish carrageenan, it is a hydrophilic colloid derived from marine red algae (including carrageenan, Eucheuma spp., Fusarium spp. and Salina, etc.) seaweed.

Solubility: insoluble in cold water, but swellable into a gel mass. Insoluble in organic solvents, easily soluble in hot water to form a translucent solution. (The dissolution rate increases in hot water above 70℃.)

Usage is about 0.2~5%

It can be used to make shampoo bars or thickener.
